Michael joined Douglas Elliman Real Estate in late 2017 after enjoying a career working on Wall Street where he traded oil & gas futures on the NYMEX as well as working in banking at various financial institutions. His business background allows him to function at a high level in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Michaels’ professional experiences have instilled in him the importance of being analytical, employing very thorough research, and meticulous attention to detail.

Michael specializes in residential single & multi-family homes, condo, and co-op sales & leasing in Nassau County, Suffolk County, and the boroughs.

Michael was named the Rookie of the Year for his strong performance in his first 18 months at the company and was named a Top 20 Under 40 Realtor on Long Island in 2020 by the YPN division of the National Association of Realtors. 

Michael constantly maintains a diverse inventory of exclusive listings in various price categories and locations and has built strong relationships with other agents inside and outside of his company, as well as many other professionals within the industry. Combining these resources with a strong knowledge of the market, along with creative and innovative marketing, Michael is able to sell homes with a high rate of success

Charity & Volunteer Work

Michael is a firm believer in giving back and is particularly passionate for helping children. In response for this passion, Michael started a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization in 2012 called “Be The Best Sport” which provides sports and recreational services for children and adults with special needs. The program has grown significantly and is now offered across Long Island and serves several thousand children and adults each year from Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties. Michael has received several awards and recognition’s for his service including:

  •  Honoree at the 12th Annual Woodbury Ball For Autism
  •  Featured on Verizon FIOS “Heroes On Our Island” TV Special 
     

Michael is also an active member and volunteers his time for other organizations dedicated to helping children including but not limited to:

  • The Rotary Club of the Gold Coast
  • The Knights of Columbus
  • The Port Washington / Manhasset Kiwanis Club

Personal Life

Michael was born in Brooklyn, and grew up in Port Washington. He is a Long Island Native for 25+ years and has a vast knowledge for the communities he services as well as the social scenes throughout the various towns he works in. 

Michael received his B.S. in Finance and M.B.A. in Marketing & Management from St. John’s University where he graduated top 5% of his class. 

He currently resides on Long Island with his wife, son, and daughter.
